Music is more than performance, it's a world filled with diverse professions that require passion, creativity, and skill. Today, you will explore eight major music career paths and discover where you might fit in.
Read the learning content entitled: Eight Careers in Music.
After reading the learning content, you have to take a quiz.
Now, you may take a short quiz.
Read the following materials/references.
After reading all the materials about the different Careers in Music, write Reflection Paper No. 1 (RP) based on the articles you have explored. In your reflection, focus on the challenges and requirements involved in pursuing different music careers, as well as your own readiness, interests, and strengths as a future musician or music professional. Share your honest thoughts, and feel free to read and learn from the Reflection Papers of your fellow SMART Learners. Please remember to always be respectful, courteous, and avoid using offensive or inappropriate language. Make sure to finish this task carefully before moving on to the next activity.
Synthesize the lesson through Reflection Paper No. 2. You are to submit a reflection paper focusing on your response to this question: “What do you think you need to improve or develop in order to prepare for a future career in music? Give at least three concrete steps you can take.”
All your RP should be posted and shared in the Class Google drive. All learners are required to comment on at least five (5) other learners whose works have not yet been replied to or commented on.
