II. Topic: Folk Songs (Music of Lowlands of Luzon)
The folksongs of the Lowlands of Luzon, such as “Magtanim ay Di Biro,” “Leron Leron Sinta,” “Atin Cu Pung Singsing,” and “Pamulinawen,” reflect the daily life, emotions, and cultural practices of the region through their unique melodies and rhythms.
This lesson will engage you not only through listening but also through feeling the music via movement and rhythm.

Reflect on how the song’s melody, tempo, and rhythm help communicate the story or emotion in the folksong.
